Jimmy Choo to release a collection for H&M in November

17 Jun

This Glamazon is having the best week ever. Why? Because after the success of the Manolo Blahnik pre-fall preview at Neiman Marcus last night, I just learned that Jimmy Choo and H&M are collaborating to create a shoe line for the fast fashion giant. I know what you are thinking right now, “SHUT UP!!!!”

“We are privileged to be among the fashion greats who have been affiliated with H&M so far, and to be designing a collection appealing to fashion savvy, street smart women, and to be including some great pieces for men, too,” founder and president of Jimmy Choo, Tamara Mellon said today. “Jimmy Choo will bring to H&M a sophisticated, fashion forward, accessible and glamorous collection – the perfect party pieces to buy now and then wear out that night!”

Yes ladies, Jimmy Choo for H&M will be debuting Fall/Winter 2009. This is music to my ears and my wallet. Just when you thought H&M couldn’t bring on bigger designers, they’ve gone and done it again. The collection is slated for release on November 14, 2009. I might be sleeping in front of the H&M store in Georgetown at midnight so that I can get my hands on every single shoe in the collection. I really hope H&M is good to Washington, DC this time around and brings the entire collection here. We hate NYC resident fashionistas getting their hands on all the collections. Want a sneak preview? I wouldn’t leave you hanging like that. Here goes!!! Enjoy!

Two of the heels that will be in the collection. I want both already.

Those are some lucky ladies. Tamera Mellon here with model in the middle and H&M prez and CEO.
