I found my Perfect Rouge at the Shiseido Spring Preview

30 Jan

Public relations guru Heather Freeman, owner of Heather Freeman Public Relations, invited a group of editors, bloggers and people in the beauty and fashion business to attend the Shiseido Americas Spring Preview event at teh Oval Room. Despite the sleet and snow, Washington’s first of the season, all the ladies showed up ready check out what Shisiedo had to offer. Under one roof was NARS, Shiseido, Issey Miyake and John Varvatos, all set up at different stations for us to make rounds. I started at the Perfect Rouge table where Ashley, a Shiseido makeup artist, picked out my perfect shade of red lipstick to compliment my skin tone. I’ve been scared of color on my lips because for some reason I just can’t find the perfect shade. Although two of the lipsticks complimented my skin perfectly, I went with the Perfect Rouge in Dragon, which was so appropriate with the cocktail length black dress and pearls I was wearing. I wore the lipstick through a few round of drinks and nibbles and noticed that it was still on my lips around midnight. I am a big fan of Shiseido’s The Makeup Advanced mascara and base so I am excited to add another product from their brand to my makeup collection. Posted by Picasa
